Fwd: Fw: Tips for fuel

Subject: Tips for fuel

Hi, here's some petrol saving tips.

Someone who has been in petroleum pipeline business for about 31 years and
is currently working for the Kinder-Morgan Pipeline in San Jose, CA wrote
the following information:

We deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period from the pipe line;
one day it's diesel, the next day it's jet fuel and gasoline. We have 34
storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons.

Here are some tricks to help you get your money's worth.

Fill up your car or truck in the morning when the temperature is still
cool. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried
below ground; and the colder the ground, the denser the gasoline. When
it gets warmer gasoline expands, so if you're filling up in the
afternoon or in the evening, what should be a
gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific
gravity and temperature of the fuel (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol
and other petroleum products) are significant. Every truckload that we
load is temperature-compensated so that the indicated gallonage is
actually the amount pumped. A one-degree rise in temperature is a big
deal for businesses, but service stations don't have temperature
   compensation at their pumps.

If a tanker truck is filling the station's tank at the time you want to
buy gas, do not fill up; most likely dirt and sludge in the tank is
being stirred up when gas is being
delivered, and you might be transferring that dirt from the bottom of
their tank into your car's tank.

Fill up when your gas tank is half-full (or half-empty), because the
more gas you have in your tank the less air there is and gasoline
evaporates rapidly, especially when it's warm. (Gasoline storage tanks
have an internal floating 'roof' membrane
to act as a barrier between the gas and the atmosphere, thereby
   minimizing evaporation.)

If you look at the trigger you'll see that it has three delivery
settings: slow, medium and high. When you're filling up do not squeeze
the trigger of the nozzle to the high setting. You should be pumping at
the slow setting, thereby minimizing vapors created while you are
pumping. Hoses at the pump are corrugated; the corrugations act as a
return path for vapor recovery from gas that already has been metered.
If you are pumping at the high setting, the agitated gasoline contains
more vapor, which is being sucked back into  the underground tank, so
you're getting less gas for your
   money.

Hope this will help ease your 'pain at the pump'!

Beware of Phishing emails

Dear Valued Investors

Please be advised that you must never click on the links in any emails purportedly sent from SwissCash Admin in order to avoid from being deceived by phishing emails.

Always remember these points:-

1) SwissCash admin will never send email to ask you to click to a link to verify your account, no matter how official looking it seems to be

2) Only the following are official SwissCash websites:
http://www.swisscash.net
http://www.sip25.com
http://www.scmutualfund.com

If you have difficulty logging in, or if you see the web page with some strange numbers instead of words, don't worry, it's the website under maintenance/update, just use any one of the following to login:

http://secured.swisscash.net/web/login.aspx

http://secured.sip25.com/web/login.aspx

http://secured.scmutualfund.com/web/login.aspx
this one goes thrrough a verification of ID process. Just key in your trading ID and click next. It will bring you to the official website. You just have to click login at the usual upper right hand, and continue with keying your password via the on-screen keyboard

This site is official but lacking security as the online password feature is not supporting symbols eg. @ # $ % http://secured.swissmutualfund.biz/web/login.aspx

I have personally verified the above site with a temporary account and it passed the test.

When you have clicked the scamming sites, change the password right away and never disclose the Date of Birth & TAP to anyone.

Prevention is better than cure. Better take care than sorry!

Cheers!

Securities Commission in Malaysia Obtains Worldwide Mareva Injunction Against Swisscash

July 10, 2007 14:09 PM

SC Obtains Worldwide Mareva Injunction Against Swisscash Investment

KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Bernama) -- In what is a milestone enforcement action against investment scams, the Securities Commission has obtained a worldwide Mareva injunction against persons involved in the Swisscash investment scam preventing them from disposing assets in and outside Malaysia.

The SC also announced it has blocked access to two more websites offering illegal investment schemes -- www.eaindex.com & www.winifund.com -- offering illegal investment schemes, bring to 10 the total number of websites blocked so far.

The Mareva was sought by the SC following the filing of a civil suit against defendants Albert Lee Kee Sien, Kelvin Choo Mun Hoe, Amir bin Hassan, Dynamic Revolution Sdn Bhd, Swiss Mutual Fund (1948) S.A, SMF International Limited and SMF (1948) International Limited, SC said in a statement here Tuesday.

The injunction was obtained on June 21 this year.

The Mareva restrains and prohibits the defendants from carrying on the business of Swisscash, targeting, soliciting and collecting funds from the public for investments in Swisscash or any other internet investment scheme.

The defendants also cannot host or operate the Swisscash websites or operate any other such websites which solicit investments for Swisscash or any other internet investment scheme.

None of the defendants in the Swisscash scheme are licensed or approved by the SC to carry out fund management activities, it said.

SC said it secured the Mareva following its investigation on the scheme under the Securities Industry Act 1983 and the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001.

Peaceful Picketing against Internet Censorship on July 14, 2007

I come across this post that peaceful picketing will be held on July 14, 2007 against internet censorship. It's about a month from SC's last notice dated June 15, 2007 that they are no longer accepting Malaysians as new investors in response to the Internet Service Provider's denial of access to its website at http://www.swisscash.net. Investors from other countries can still login to SwissCash website via proxy or without proxy. Hence I come to the conclusion that SwissCash Admin also filtered Malaysian ID bearing affix "my" as proxy usage may compromise the security of its database.

Quote

MALAYSIA Peaceful picket to hand a memorandum to PM regarding SwissCash is confirmed at the time and place appended below. Please do NOT sensationalise this post and spread unconstructive comments.
This peaceful picket I believe and may I suggest the following consideration:-
(1) it is NOT a protest but simply to hand a sincere and practical memo to our PM.
(2) it should be done in a rational and professional protocol without our human rights being suppressed.
(3) unruly behaviour during picket is detrimental to public image.
(4) memo should have a follow-up meeting with govt to create understanding. An ad hoc committee can be considered. If possible, get some well respected VIPs to help out.
(5) proposals should spell out valid reasons to allow MY to do SC at least as a temporary measure until a full measure is given. Genuine internet businesses are becoming the trend to boost any country's economy. Just like in this internet age, we can buy online insurance from a well known and genuine offshore company. There is nothing wrong with it except a virtual company is not required to have a local license to operate online.
(6) it is good to learn from many countries whereby SC website is freely allowed.
(7) get some good media coverage including understanding SC better.
(8) if the motivation, purpose and direction of this picket is good. Then, the govt may consider.
(9) as a courtesy, inform SMF/SC about this peaceful memorandum.

The following quoted post written in Malay, briefly translated- it is said that the picket is confirmed to be held on 14th July 2007 (Sat), 12 noon at Dataran Putra Jaya, Malaysia. They are calling all SC supporters and those doing any internet programs to kindly come and show your full support! This is the time for us to take a constructive action. If not, until when we need to patiently wait. Let us now exercise our human rights as citizens of democracy.

Malaysian SC Investors Accounts are Denied of Access

29-6-2007

Hi Malaysian SC Investors

I think for Malaysian SC accounts, you cannot access them anymore because they are denied access by SC. So that is why you cannot log onto your account either by mobile or proxy.

Just hope they release the accounts soon.

Swiss Mutual Fund (1948) S.A. is not a Financial Institution

Be it known to all investors that Swiss Mutual Fund (1948) S.A. is not a licensed financial institution but merely an International Business Corporation (IBC) registered in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The use of electronic point or e-point by SwissCash, financial product of Swiss Mutual Fund (1948) S.A. is an obvious indication that they are not a financial institution.

Investors should be aware of this fact before making the "investment" in this kind of financial product. The latest SwissCash's financial products are SIP25 Plan replacing SIP15300 and Agriculture Commodity Fund (ACF). Investors should be aware that for internet investment it is not a solid investment and it is always at your own risk! In the event of failure, no one should be blamed except the owners of Swiss Mutual Fund (1948) S.A.

FAQs about SwissCash

Here are the Frequently Ask Questions (FAQ) not listed in the company’s FAQ (The listed questions have being asked to Swisscash’s Admin and here are the replied ); updated: June 20, 2006

QUESTION: Hi! Your IP address is registered in Malaysia and for a period of 1 year only. Are you a Malaysian company? why 1 year?
ANSWER: Our database and ftp servers are situated in US as well as other places. We do have mail servers in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, UK, Brazil and US. If you trace the source of our mail servers from the email that you received, you will find that its IP could originate from any of these countries. If you are referring to domain name registration, it is on an auto yearly renewal basis. The date of Registration and Expiry is on yearly basis as well. You do not have to worry about this matter. We are not registered in Malaysia, therefore we are not a Malaysian company.

QUESTION: The language on your welcome messages are filled with errors very common to Chinese in Malaysia. Please comment. Even in the CEO statement such errors are made.
ANSWER: We hope you are kind enough to point out the mistakes you have came across. Various people in various countries have different way of communicating in English. We do not know how Chinese in Malaysia speaks their English. However we apologize if our presentation misled your understanding on our financial facility.

QUESTION: When I called the US office, the guy was very evasive and said someone will call me back but no one did.
ANSWER: Our customer service does not call back to investors because we do not entertain people who calls up to enquire about our financial facilities that caters for public such as SwissCash. You have to understand that people call up everyday speaking to our customer service team in Latin Spanish, Portuguese, Tamil, Chinese dialects, Russian, Germans and all sort of languages. We cannot possibly entertain all our global investors’ needs. All necessary information has been provided in the website and one can always use the Swiss Messenger to communicate with us. We are schedule to launch our multiple language website early next year. By then, we hope you can understand our website presentation in your preferred local language.

QUESTION: Due Diligence Board says that this programme is a scam as no transparency is in place. please comment.
ANSWER: It would be good if you can tell us you hire which Due Diligence Board to make enquiries on SMF or SC. If you are referring to companies that you simply search on directories or websites, you have to first determine their credibility. Many people claims to be from Due Diligence board all over the world called up or even emailed us but we do not even entertain them because we do not even know if they are genuine.

QUESTION: Why is money wired to Cyprus when the company is based in Dominica?
ANSWER: Commonwealth of Dominica is an offshore heaven for International Business Corporations due to taxation matters but we do not trust the banking facility. Cyprus is one of the best European Union nation with flexible financial systems that caters well for our clients and our companies. With all due respect; you are not the 1st person or even the 10,000th person who is dealing with SMF or SC. Many big corporations (for the past nearly 60 years) as well as individual investors before you had done their homework, invest with SMF/SC and enjoy our financial facilities. We understand your concern but it seems very unfounded.

QUESTION: If I sign up a Swiss Cash account now under my name now and decide to sell the account away to someone else later. Is it possible to change the ownership (name) of the account?
ANSWER: Transferring of ownership of account can no longer be approved by the management of SwissCash (updated 1-10-2006)

QUESTION: What happens when an investor passes away? Who can get access to the account?
ANSWER: Investors are encouraged to inform SwissCash of their next of kin in case such situation arises. Investors can do so in their online trading account under Swiss Personal Info- Edit Personal Info. The beneficiary will have to scan a copy of the death certificate and their own Identification Card/Passport and e-mail to service@… for verification.

QUESTION: We have come across a friend who claimed that he had checked with the Swiss Embassy in Singapore about the existence of Swiss Mutual Fund. He said he was told by the Embassy that no record of establishment of Swiss Mutual Fund was found as per the Embassy’s record. Could there be any specific reason to this? We hope that this would be clear as many people have expressed concern over this issue.
ANSWER: We are not involved with the operation of Swiss Embassy, thus we cannot comment on that. Anyway, Swiss Mutual Fund does not incorporate itself in Switzerland for more than 7 years, it is only logical if no such record is available from the Embassy. It has been incorporated in Commonwealth of Dominica since 1996.

QUESTION: Is there any specific reason why SMF open the bank account at Federal Bank of the MIddle East Limited, Nicosia, Cyprus. Even thought we know this is a very big bank. But the company registered in Commonwealth of Domanica and office is New York?
ANSWER: Commonwealth of Dominica is an offshore haven for International Business Corporations due to taxation matters but we do not trust the banking facility. Cyprus is one of the best European Union nation with flexible financial systems that caters well for our clients and our companies all these years.

QUESTION: May I know where did you invest our money?
ANSWER: We are sorry to inform you that how SwissCash Global Investors funds are managed is part of SMF Private Investment Policy. SwissCash financial facility does not function by explaining to its investors how their money are invested. It functions by paying a fixed return for the investment made. Swiss Mutual Fund has and will always do investment with only legitimate business. We have been operating for nearly 60 years and will not jeopardize our reputation with investment in businesses that is not legal.

QUESTION: What is relationship between SMF and JP Morgan Chase?
ANSWER: JP Morgan is the correspondent bank used by certain beneficiary banks when an Out-Going Money Transfer is requested.

QUESTION: Is that true your U.S office is virtual office? If yes, what is the purpose of having virtual office in U.S?
ANSWER: Our operations are mostly represented in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Many of our offices are operating as Representative status and only cater for our corporate investor but not open for public enquiries. New York is our Customer Service Office for Global Investors enquiries. We do not conduct our business activities there.

Remarks: It has been a common knowledge that there are virtual office services are available in USA and there is no intention of fraud to use this kind of service for cost saving and to maximize returns for investors.

Even company with physical address may go burst and it does not matter with virtual offices when it has been operating well and investors are happy with their returns.

Is SwissCash a MLM scheme?

SwissCash has MLM elements of its direct sales and reward systems,
but it cannot be categorised as a MLM because of this simple fact:

A MLM survives by sales volume.
The sales volume is generated monthly through its members' sales.
The members' recurring sales per month mostly achieved through automate* or maintenance** creates the company total monthly sales and from the sales volume, a portion is returned to the members as commission (called benefit)

In SwissCash, there is no requirement for monthly sales quota.
There is no requirement for monthly maintenance.
A SwissCash investor gets paid his alloted profit per month^ based on his principal investment returns, not due to the number of recruits that an investor gets in.
The investor never needs to recruit anyone and can still get paid monthly profit.
Therefore based on this specific difference, SwissCash cannot be categorised as an MLM.

* automate: automated monthly sales generated by the MLM company's computer, and cost of product is deducted automatically via credit card or bank account.

** maintenance: the mandatory amount of sales to be generated monthly in order to qualify for the monthly reward scheme

^ profit per month for SwissCash:
10% of principal investment will be paid on the 30th, 60th, 90th day
15% of principal investment will be paid on the 120th, 150th, 180th day
20% of principal investment will be paid on the 210th, 240th, 270th day
25% of principal investment will be paid on the 300th, 330th, 360th day
30% of principal investment will be paid on the 390th, 420th, 450th day

Subject: [IJTNu014y6] Consultant did not provide the list of appointed dealers in my country and region

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refer to the Swiss Financial Planner/Consultant that has referred you to our Financial Facility for more information on the dealers in your region.

Dealers will work hand in hand with our regional directors as well as the company. Then currency exchange rate will depend on the rate given by the dealers. Whether the payments is to be paid to dealers through cash basis, bank in to accounts or any other 3rd party gateway would depend on the dealer that you deals with. The standard procedure would be COD for e-points requested from dealers.

Firstly, our appointed dealers have already pre-purchase E-Points from Swiss Mutual Fund to trade with investors, whereby E-Points will be directly transferred to investor’s trading account, and to be a dealer, he/she must earned a minimum amount of USD100,000 SFP commission, hence, investor can rely on our trustworthy appointed dealers.

Thank you.

Regards,

Jean Philippe

Offshore Investment Scheme hits Singapore

Quote
An investment scam that has been making the rounds in Malaysia has hit Singapore, too. Known as SwissCash or Swiss Mutual Fund, it promises huge returns for a minimum investment of US$1,000 ($1,500).

In actual fact, the minimum investment in SwissCash is USD100.00 and not USD1,000.00

One have to read and analyse the news report with other independent sources and not swallow everything as the truth. So far the scam has no association with SwissCash. It was an old news in Malaysia and Singapore reporter is making it as a new report but with full of inaccuracies. The scam was involving Union Bank of Swiss and not SwissCash; see the reliable report at Sun2surf report.

So this report is false and misleading the public

Quote
In Malaysia, about 40 investors are believed to have fallen prey to the scam. According to reports, eight men are helping police in their investigations into alleged cheating of about RM20 million ($8.7 million) through the Swiss Cash fund, in October last year. Unquote

That is an obvious deception by misquoting from unreliable sources. The Star Online dated 4-10-2006 http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp...816&sec=nation

But the following day 5-10-2006, they have clarified with another report it was related to Union Bank of Swiss but never apologize to SwissCash.
